Yesterday’s 14/1 win with Recession Proof was warmly received so we’ve no intention of throwing the booty straight back to the bookies on today’s tricky, if informative, fare.

The re-scheduling of Newbury’s Totesport Trophy card hasn’t exactly improved the card but it’s still a great meeting to help us forget the awful events of Saturday.

The re-scheduling of Leopardstown’s Hennessy Gold Cup card to Saturday means racing fans have a potentially mouth-watering weekend of action ahead.
The Totesport Trophy card at Newbury is already a belter so Cheltenham Festival clues aplenty can be anticpated - and not before time with so many abandonments this winter.

Ante-post betting for Cheltenham is getting even more intriguing as more firms follow Ladbrokes by offering the enticing ‘non-runner, no bet’ concession.
Rest assured, we’ll be studying our options closely as we aim to add to the 12/1 voucher that hopefully you’ve all got on Grands Crus after last week’s World Hurdle advice.
