Stone to score at Ascot

Riverside Theatre has a great record on his seasonal debuts and is no doubt to be feared in the Betfair Ascot Chase at 3.00 but we like Kauto Stone’s chances.

Available at a very generous 4/1, Paul Nicholls looks a classic each-way bet-to-nothing, as long as all eight runners stand their ground for the Grade 1 event.

China to Rock rivals

We considered getting involved with an account bet on China Rock in today’s Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown but have decided to hold back this time.

Mouse Morris has great faith in his inmate and a recent run over hurdles should have put him cherry-ripe for a crack at a below-par renewal of the Grade One chase.

Plenty, we guess …
