Confidence strengthens!

As we tipped Sizing Europe at 16/1 and 9/1 for last year’s Champion Chase, as well as 13/2 for the 2010 Arkle, he is without question one of our favourite horses.
For that reason, we would be happy enough with his beating of Big Zeb today but we also have another ulterior motive for delight at […]

More Cheltenham Festival clues …

Midnight Chase and Grumeti provided a winning nap and next best double yesterday while Galaxy Rock ran with credit, finishing fourth of 15, though, to foil place bets.
Montan’s run in fourth bagged the each-way cash but his jockey Davy Russell gave a very strange ride to Tony Martins’s charge - definite food for thought!

Twitter for daily banter …

While our tips will appear on this website, a lot of our daily chit-chat, thoughts or general nonsense in the run-up to Cheltenham will appear on our Twitter page.
Helpfully, all our Twitter updates (@FreeRacingTips) appear on the left-hand side of all our pages in the black and green widget.

We’ve got three to mention, not account bets but worth an interest.

Pricewise follows us in!

The excellent Pricewise column in the Racing Post has been in good form lately so it was reassuring to see him make Oscars Well his selection for the Champion Hurdle today.
We pinched all the 25/1 non-runner, no bet with Ladbrokes on Saturday so hopefully you’re all on at the best price with the great money […]

Get the Champion Hurdle value …

One winner and two placed from our three suggestions for an each-way double on Saturday - and how did Colour Squadron throw victory away? - so nothing lost there.
However, now is the time for an ante-post investment on the Cheltenham Festival.

Consider favourites …

We’ve been racking our brains trying to find value bets or over-priced outsiders for today but, in truth, it’s the shorter-priced runners that catch the eye more.
Therefore we’ll put up three well-fancied horses that you can back in singles or perhaps pick two for an each-way double - at their current odds, two placed will […]
