Hughie Morrison’s Starzaan was one of our Cheltenham tips last year but didn’t jump well enough to land the spoils in the RSA Chase.
However we would have had an each-way interest on him in today’s 3.10 at Kempton but for the late withdrawal of a couple of runners making this a 15-runner handicap with only three rather than four places.

An excellent article in today’s Racing Post Weekender highlights the fact that there really is no great rush to get your Cheltenham bets on now as there is little ante-post value left.
As the ‘Trends Master Class’ says about last year, only winners of three of the 13 races (generally available at this corresponding time) were major steamers in the market.
