About the editor
Dave is the editor of Cheltenham Festival Tips. Based in Cheltenham, just down the road from Prestbury Park, he puts together the site’s race previews using form, the key trial races that shape the Festival markets, and live bookmaker odds data, with an eye on where the value lies rather than simply following the favourites. The site is updated throughout the jumps season, from the November meeting through to final declarations in March.
Who We Are
Cheltenham Festival Tips is an independent site run by Dave, a Cheltenham-based racing fan who specialises in the Festival. The aim is simple: to help punters make more informed bets at the most prestigious meeting of the jumps season, by studying the form, following the markets and keeping track of the leading trainers and jockeys.
Why Trust Us?
The Cheltenham Festival is unlike any other sporting event. Every March, the best horses from Britain, Ireland, and beyond line up for four days of world-class racing. Every preview on this site goes beyond the surface, looking at statistics, trainer records, course form, ground conditions and betting trends to bring you well-researched selections.
Whether it’s identifying a strong favourite in the Champion Hurdle, spotting each-way value in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, or unearthing big-priced outsiders for the handicaps, our tips are crafted with expertise and precision.
Our Commitment
We pride ourselves on being Cheltenham Festival experts. Our coverage includes:
- Daily race previews and best bets
- Each way tips for punters looking for value
