A Lucky 15 or Cheltenham Acca is always worth looking at, especially when you have a four day Cheltenham Festival to enjoy. Who would we pick for our four Lucky 15 horses for the 2024 Festival? It’s not an easy choice, and we’ve done some serious head scratching here to give you some ideas.
We’ve picked four horses, one from each day of the Cheltenham Festival, so let’s have a look at our choices.
For the first day we have gone for the Champion Hurdle. Others may choose not to involve the feature race, but it’s too good a possible field. We’re not going for the main protagonists, however: our Lucky 15 will be most certainly each way, and we’re looking at 20/1 shot Not So Sleepy from Hughie Morrison’s yard.
Day two is a tricky one and we’ve picked Monty’s Star in the Brown Advisory Novices Chase. Henry de Bromhead saddles a horse with clear potential and recent form says 11/2 is a sensible price.
The Stayers Hurdle is the race we have picked for day 3 and we reckon Willie Mullins’ Monkfish could spring a surprise at 16/1. This is likely to be a strong race and one that is more than possible to throw up an interesting winner.
One the final day it simply has to be the Gold Cup, and it’s difficult to overlook Galopin Des Champs, so contrary to our other picks, the 11/10 favourite it is!
Cheltenham acca guide
The excitement of the Cheltenham Festival is closely intertwined with the allure of Accumulator (ACCA) betting, a favorite among punters worldwide. This four-day horse racing extravaganza attracts bettors and bookmakers globally, offering numerous betting options with varied odds. Among these, the ACCA bet stands out as a highly lucrative choice, often leading to substantial wins, making it the most popular bet throughout the festival.
In essence, participating in the Cheltenham races without trying an ACCA bet is akin to visiting a pub and not enjoying a beer. However, while the potential for high returns is significant, it’s important to be mindful of the risks involved.
Understanding Cheltenham Acca Betting:
ACCA betting involves linking two or more selections into a single bet. This type of betting can yield substantial profits, particularly if all selections win, as the odds get multiplied, leading to a larger payout.
The catch, however, is straightforward: if even one selection loses, the entire bet is lost. Despite this risk, with careful selection, ACCA betting can transform modest prices into significant wins, offering an exciting dimension to Cheltenham Festival betting.
Cheltenham acca selections
As the Cheltenham Festival nears, bettors worldwide gear up for what is often described as the most thrilling four days in the horse racing calendar. The concept of acca betting is synonymous with the Cheltenham Festival, presenting punters with a prime opportunity to engage in accumulator betting and aim for substantial wins.
The festival features a wide array of betting options with attractive odds offered daily by bookmakers. It’s crucial for bettors to stay alert to the possibilities of Cheltenham accumulators, as they present a significant chance for lucrative gains.
Each of the four days of the festival hosts seven races, providing ample opportunities for bettors to analyze, place strategic accabets, and potentially reap considerable profits. The advantage of acca betting is the ability to start with modest bets and still stand a chance to win big.
While the prevalence of single bets might cause some hesitation, due to the risks associated with multiple bets, thoughtful placement of these bets can lead to extraordinary profits. The Cheltenham acca betting scene offers a variety of multiple betting options, among which doubles and trebles are particularly popular.
These involve placing bets on two or three horses simultaneously, combining them into one bet, which is an effective strategy when betting on several short-priced favorites to maximize potential returns.
